Hello! I'm Alex Kevakian, a Front-end developer based in Glendale, California. I graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I've spent the past three years immersed in the world of front-end development. I take pride in creating custom, highly-responsive websites and mobile applications using ReactJS, NextJS, and React Native. The thrill of bringing a design to life and making it interact with users is what drives my passion for development.

When I'm not coding, you'll often find me on the tennis court. I competed in tennis tournaments from the age of nine through junior college, an experience that has taught me invaluable lessons in problem-solving, leadership, and integrity. I bring these qualities to my work in software development, approaching every project with the same discipline and tenacity I applied on the tennis court.

iOS/Android app, specially made for automotive enthusiasts. I used React Native for the frontend and Firebase for the backend. I am currently migrating to Supabase (PostgreSQL) for the backend, for all the benefits of a relational database.

Using a free weather API, I built a weather app that uses Next.js 13.3, React, StepZen, and GraphQL. I also used ChatGPT-3.5 to create a personalized message for the user based on the City they choose.

I built an NFT Viewer web app using Ankr.js to fetch NFTs owned from a wallet address. Users can search from the Etherium, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon network.

For my Senior Design project, we built a Netflix/Youtube hybrid web app. Notflix is a Netflix clone with added features; allowing users to upload movies and shows, as well as comment on all content.
